At IC Systems, we are leading the way to implement "Convergence Technology" into modern process control automation and monitoring systems known to many as SCADA.

In the last 10 years the industry has seen the successful movement away from proprietary bus communications to Open Ethernet networks. That has given customers the ability to link devices from different manufacturers over a large scale network quickly and easily. The deployment of such systems still require specialized SCADA integrators and the information general remains contained within the system and is not easily accessible to the outside world.

Our "Convergence Technology" embedded in your system provides seemless connection between enterprise UNIX/LINUX servers to field devices using typical web protocols. In this way, field devices can be configured and data retrieved via secure SSL HTTP connections while communicating locally via Modbus, DNP3, BACNET or any of the other standard automation protocols.

The ease and flexibility of this technology will give rise to new markets, simplify deployment as web savy engineers replace SCADA engineers and will provide more information in real time to a greater number of people and for less cost.
